This
prototype was initially developed just to see if we could be the
first to fit a magazine into a 50BMG upper.
We
are now getting daily requests to manufacture and sell these uppers,
so we are currently updating our drawings to enable us to get
CNC fabrication prices to establish the minimum order quantities
to get competitive pricing.
We
will use the page to update you on our progress.

Sorry
for the delay in updates on the progress of the UltraMag 50
project. We have been very busy working toward making the projected
delivery dates. We are looking to ship shipping uppers mid to
late Oct.
Theres been the normal delays that occur whenever a project like
this
takes place.
For those attending the Knob Creek Machine gun shoot Oct. 10,
11, 12
2003 we will have the first production uppers there on display.

Production
UltraMag 50 Specifications:
Receiver
unfluted - "Race gun" version with flutes per prototype
will be available later.
Barrel 18" or 22" - Barrel Fluting will be available
as a option in the future.
Muzzle Brake will be made from steel - a Titanium (as Prototype)
will be available as option in the future.
Bipod mount using rail interface adaptable to other bipods (Serbu,
M14, ect.)
Finish - Parkerized (steel) and Anodized (aluminum) same as prototype
Other specs listed on the prototype will remain unchanged.
In
Order to keep on schedule with the first run of uppers we have
limited the number of options available at this time. Most options
can be added at a later date. Bipod and carry handle are extra.

June 23, 2003
Due
to the great response on our mag fed 50 BMG upper, we are delighted
to let you know that after final testing by Dennis Chaney and
Dave Finnie, it is now going into production. It will take us
a few days to update the site, but in the meantime we are pleased
to announce that a formal agreement is in place and the complete
package of sales and manufacture will be carried out in Florida
by Walter Keller of Safety Harbor Firearms.
Walter is a great guy and has wealth of experience in the firearms
industry including the big 50's, and he was actively involved
in the prototype. You can now pre-order for the first 100 units
at the low introductory price of $1750.00. There is a 50% deposit
on the UltraMag 50 with the balance due on delivery plus shipping.
Looking at the first deliveries in six to eight weeks.
